Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Material Handler I for on-site work in Salt Lake City, UT. The role involves unloading shipments, directing movement within the warehouse, and preparing shipping documents. You will verify items in the Warehouse Management System and assist with stock replenishment.

Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED, forklift certification, a valid license, and hazmat certification. Safety and teamwork are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required, plus 0–2 years related experience or equivalent.
Certification to operate forklift, valid driver's license, and hazmat shipment handling certification.

Responsibilities

Unload and direct movement of shipments from shipping/receiving to storage/work areas.
Verify and record shipments using the Warehouse Management System for correct product, quality and quantity.
Prepare packing slips, shipping labels, bills of lading and documents.
Keep warehouse areas clean, orderly, and maintained.
Replenish stock from reserve locations as needed.
Operate forklift; may drive after hours as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
