Job summary

Dal-Tile, a Mohawk Industries subsidiary, is hiring a Material Handler I - Loader (3rd shift) in Sunnyvale, TX 75182. The role operates sit-down and reach forklifts to load/unload finished product in shipping/receiving and to support putaway and packing.

You will verify orders in the Warehouse Management System, ensure stock accuracy, and maintain a safe, organized work area while following SOPs and safety guidelines. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Good communication and written skills in English.
• Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
• Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks to pick and pack orders.
• Enter and verify orders in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Verify stock availability and audit orders for accuracy.
• Convey picked orders to packing/shipping areas.
• Receive products, inspect crates, and label as required.
• Putaway received goods to designated locations and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Wrap and pack products for shipping and label correctly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Primary Objective:

Operates various powered industrial trucks to load and unload finished product in the shipping and receiving process.

Shift

• 3rd: M-F, 6:00pm-2:30am

Equipment Knowledge

• Sit-Down Forklift
• Order Picker/Cherry Picker Forklift

Picking

• Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
• Keys order into Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy
• Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areas

Receiving

• Operates various powered industrial trucks to receive product into warehouse and prepare for stocking
• Opens crates and inspects product
• Applies labels to product according to establishing procedures
• Verifies shading of product and places into accurate warehouse location

Putaway

• Utilizespowered industrialequipment to move product into pre-designated areas within warehouse once received
• Keys location of product into inventory control system and places product onto shelves
• Ensures product is placed into accurate location

SPC Check/Pack Checking

• Wraps and packs products by hand into boxes for shipping
• Labels boxes with packing slip
• Loads boxes into conveyor belt
• Verifies orders for accuracy

General

• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor
• Follows standard operating and safety procedures
• Keeps area safe, clean, and organized
• Performs other related duties as required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience.
• Must have a minimum of six months to 1 year of sit-downforklift. Reach truck, and OP experience.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak English.
• Ability to work in a safe conscientious manner.
• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
