Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, seeks a Warehouse Forklift Operator in Sunnyvale, Texas. You will operate sit-down forklifts and other material handling equipment to move product from receiving to stock shelves and to assemble customer orders.

This role requires safety focus, accurate stock checks, and timely data entry into the Warehouse Management System (WMS). The 2nd shift runs 2:30pm–11:00pm, Monday–Friday, with opportunities for growth within a large, veteran-friendly company.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Good communication and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to understand and speak English.
• Dal-Tile certification to operate powered industrial trucks.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks to pick and package orders.
• Enter orders into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Verify stock availability and ensure order accuracy.
• Convey picked orders to packing/shipping areas.
• Follow safety procedures and keep the work area organized.

Primary Objective

Operates various powered industrial trucks to transport product from receiving department to stock shelves.

Shift

• 2nd: M-F, 2:30pm-11:00pm

Equipment Knowledge

Sit-Down Forklift

Order Picker/Cherry Picker Forklift

Responsibilities

• Picking

Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.

Keys order into Warehouse Management System (WMS)

Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy

Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areas

Receiving

Operates various powered industrial trucks to receive product into warehouse and prepare for stocking

Opens crates and inspects product

Applies labels to product according to establishing procedures

Verifies shading of product and places into accurate warehouse location

Putaway

Utilizespowered industrialequipment to move product into pre-designated areas within warehouse once received

Keys location of product into inventory control system and places product onto shelves

Ensures product is placed into accurate location

SPC Check/Pack Checking

Wraps and packs products by hand into boxes for shipping

Labels boxes with packing slip

Loads boxes into conveyor belt

Verifies orders for accuracy

General

Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor

Follows standard operating and safety procedures

Keeps area safe, clean, and organized

Performs other related duties as required

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience. Must have a minimum of six months to 1 year of sit-downforklift. Reach truck, and OP experience.

Good oral and written communications skills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability. Ability to understand and speak English.

Ability to work in a safe conscientious manner.

Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
