Job summary

Leitner-Poma of America, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler I to receive, unpack, and examine goods, and verify completeness against invoices and records.

This role prepares products for shipment, counts units, and uses forklifts and related machinery to move inventory across multiple shops. You will maintain accurate inventory records, generate SAP confirmations, and ensure parts are labeled with correct numbers for traceability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience reading and understanding welding/production drawings.
• Experience with forklift operations.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Proficient in English.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, and examine goods received; verify completeness against invoices and records.
• Prepare products for shipment; count and compare quantities and identification numbers.
• Move inventory with forklifts/cranes and document parts usage in SAP.
• Transfer orders, confirmations, and inventory management maintained in SAP.
