Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Material Handler to move, stage, and track materials across the facility with a focus on accuracy and safety. The role involves operating forklifts, counting and reconciling inventory, and supporting production through timely material availability.

Qualifications include 0–2 years of related experience, proficiency with ERP systems for inventory, and forklift skills (sit-down and double reach).

Qualifications

  • Proficient in using ERP for inventory and transactions.
  • Skilled in operating sit-down and double-reach forklifts.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Move materials to/from docks, trucks, storage, and production areas using MHE.
  • Load and unload shipments; stage materials for inspection and storage.
  • Locate materials by BOM; stage to correct work cell area.
  • Maintain in-process inventory at work centers and document movements.
  • Receive and process return materials from production.
  • Ensure proper palletizing and racking of materials.
  • Perform equipment inspections and keep areas clean and safe.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Work independently and resolve material handling errors with guidance as needed.
  • Keep warehouse areas and equipment neat and organized.
  • Collaborate with Leads, Planners, and Supervisors to support production priorities.
