Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Midland, TX is hiring a Material Handler - Warehouse to safely load, unload and move materials near the site. This role supports the SPM Oil & Gas arm, a Caterpillar company, focusing on inventory control and efficient material flow.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior experience operating a forklift
• Must be able to become forklift certified within 30 days
• Must be able to operate hand-held scanner (inventory transaction device) within 30 days
• Ability to use identification tools (engraver, metal stamps, paint pen) to mark product
• Ability to read and interpret dimensional drawings

Responsibilities

• Unload, stock and inventory all deliveries
• Assist with new orders and cycle counts
• Read and understand standard work and risk assessments
• Exhibits equipment and product understanding
• Counts, weighs, secures, tags, palettize and stacks materials and maintains accurate records of material movement
• Assist service operations with pulling and picking parts
• Performs other job duties as assigned
