Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Material Handler - Warehouse in Midland, TX. You will safely load, unload, and move materials on site, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

The role requires forklift experience and certification within 30 days, plus proficiency with handheld scanners and basic drawings. The position supports our Midland operations with standard work, inventory control, and collaboration with service teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior experience operating a forklift
• Must be able to become forklift certified within 30 days
• Must be able to effectively operate hand-held scanner within 30 days
• Ability to use identification tools (engraver, metal stamps, paint pen) to mark product
• Ability to read and interpret dimensional drawings

Responsibilities

• Unload, stock and inventory all deliveries.
• Assist with new orders and cycle counts.
• Read and understand standard work and risk assessments.
• Exhibits equipment and product understanding.
• Counts, weighs, secures, tags, palettize and stacks materials and maintains accurate records of material movement.
• Assist service operations with pulling and picking parts.
• Performs other job duties as assigned
