Job summary

RK Logistics Group in Kyle, TX is seeking a Material Handler to process parts through the warehouse and update the Warehouse Management System. You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move material, unload inbound shipments, and prepare outbound loads with accuracy and efficiency.

The role requires attention to detail, basic math and writing skills, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment. Prior warehouse experience and LEAN understanding are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0-2 years’ Warehouse and Logistics experience.
• 1-2 years’ forklift experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn LEAN principles (5S/7S); training provided.
• Good communication skills.
• Understanding of logistics, shipping, receiving, and standard work instruction protocols.
• Strong math and writing skills.
• Basic computer skills with knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Prior experience with Inventory control preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move material using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Unload inbound products and load outbound shipments.
• Perform weighing and measurement tasks (DIMS).
• Receive, unpack, and verify products for accuracy.
• Conduct cycle counts and support physical inventory.
• Use handheld RF tools to receive, pick, stock, and ship in WMS.
• Process RAM and verify incoming shipments for accuracy.
• Label parts as needed during receipt, put away, picking or shipping process.
• Pack, re-pack and wrap products for shipping and storage.
• Consolidate partial pallets into full pallets for inventory consolidation.
• Cross-train to learn other warehouse functions.
