Job summary

Viega Holding GmbH & Co. KG in Kentucky is seeking a Material Handler to ensure raw materials are stocked and moved according to the production schedule. You will load, unload, and transport materials from the warehouse into production.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, perform color changeovers planning, maintain material tracking, and assist with recycling and waste reduction. The role includes meetings, training, and potential shift variations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of related experience.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review production schedule to determine materials needed for production.
• Check raw material levels and ensure proper flow.
• Pull materials and distribute to designated areas for next run.
• Operate forklift or pallet jack to move materials.
• Break down empty gaylord boxes and bundle materials for transport.
• Maintain tracking of materials and update records.
• Unload trucks and assist with back-up roles as needed.
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
