Valeo North America Inc. in Winchester, KY is seeking a Material Handler to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will read manufacturing documentation, operate a forklift, perform quality checks, update records, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

The role requires basic math, strong English, teamwork, reliability, and willingness to work overtime. The position is full-time with a day shift (7:00a–3:30p) and includes benefits such as 401(k) matching,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Flexible with overtime as needed.
• Read and understand manufacturing instructions.
• Strong command of English (written and verbal).
• Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide).
• Reliable, proactive, quality focused.
• Able to perform repetitive duties while standing.
• Able to lift 20–50 lbs daily.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Team-based collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Operate ForkTruck and use basic hand tools and measurement equipment.
• Follow complex manufacturing documentation and instructions.
• Perform quality activities including self-inspection and stop-scrap when needed.
• Update production records and test results.
• Communicate problems to appropriate personnel.
• Identify discrepant materials/components and report to supervisor.
• Complete tasks per schedules and standard times.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Develop versatility across related tasks and operations.
• Wear PPE and follow safety procedures.
• Use handheld technology and basic computer skills.
