Job summary

Viega LLC is seeking a Material Handler to ensure raw materials are stocked according to the production schedule and to move materials from the raw material warehouse into production as needed.

The role requires operating a forklift and pallet jack, breaking down boxes, and maintaining material-tracking records. This position supports packaging, changeovers, and recycling tasks as part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic reading, writing and math.
• Knowledge of raw materials.
• Ability to operate forklift and electric pallet jack.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Ability to interpret production schedule.
• Ability to perform with superior service and maintain quality.

Responsibilities

• Ensure lines are stocked with raw material per production schedule.
• Load, unload, and move material from warehouse to production.
• Pul lmaterials for color changes and changeovers as scheduled.
• Pull raw material as needed using forklift or pallet jack.
• Break down empty boxes and bundle/load onto trailer for transport.
• Maintain tracking system for materials and lot numbers.
