Job summary

Multiquip Inc. in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Material Handler I to safely transport materials to assembly lines and support multiple departments. You will help maintain an organized work environment while following safety protocols and daily forklift operations.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long shifts, and certification readiness. Competitive benefits and full-time hours apply with occasional overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Ability to pass Multiquip Forklift Certification.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, inventory tags, operating instructions, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials onto pallets, racks, trays, and shelves.
• Move materials between storage areas, production lines, and designated work sites.
• Count, weigh, and document materials handled.
• Tag, label, or mark materials and containers for identification.
• Stack, bundle, and band materials for storage or shipment.
• Safely operate hoists, forklifts (standup and sitdown), and other material-handling equipment.
• Locate, stage, and distribute pallets and temporary storage containers.
• Conduct daily forklift inspections.
• Read and interpret part tags to determine next operation and storage destinations.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with leads, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Handle equipment carefully and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
