Job summary

Boise Cascade is seeking a Material Handler (Forklift Operator) to receive, select, and load materials in a high-traffic warehouse. You will operate a forklift safely, verify order accuracy after packaging, and provide basic customer service to internal and external customers in a dynamic team setting.

The role demands physical work in all weather conditions, adherence to OSHA safety procedures, and daily forklift safety checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years equivalent experience.
• Forklift experience and familiarity with building materials; able to measure material lengths.

Responsibilities

• Receive, select, and load materials.
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently.
• Verify accuracy of orders after packaging and loading.
• Provide basic internal and external customer service.
• Coordinate with team to fulfill orders daily.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
