Job summary

Multiquip in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Material Handler I to keep production moving by safely transporting materials to the assembly lines and supporting weld and machine shop teams. You will operate forklifts, read part tags, document materials, and maintain an organized, safe work environment.

Daily tasks include loading/unloading, staging materials, performing forklift inspections, and communicating clearly with leads and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification is required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, inventory tags, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Basic written communication for reports and routine documentation.
• Clear communication with teams and employees.
• Strong math including fractions, decimals, rates and percentages.
• Ability to interpret bar graphs and follow instructions.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from pallets and shelves.
• Move materials between storage areas and production lines.
• Count, weigh, and document materials handled.
• Tag, label, or mark materials for identification.
• Stack and bundle materials for storage or shipment.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Communicate clearly with leads, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Attend to assigned duties and maintain regular attendance.
