Job summary

bmsc-careers in Coppell, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00pm–12:00am) with potential overtime. You will move components from inventory to production lines and ensure kits are complete for each run.

You will operate pallet jacks and forklifts, verify quantities, replenish lines, keep work areas safe and clean, and assist on the production line when needed. Basic math and reading small fonts are required; bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Position Summary

Position Summary: Responsible for the movement of components from inventory to production lines.

Schedule

2nd shift Monday-Friday 3:00pm – 12:00am. Overtime may be required for this position

Responsibilities and Essential Duties

• Responsible for the delivery of components to each line on the day of production.
• Ensure all quantities within a kit are reviewed and verified.
• Demonstrate the ability to safely operate material handling equipment (pallet jack, electrical pallet jack, or if certified forklift).
• Transfer components from wood pallets to plastic when needed.
• Ensure all lines are full of components and replenish when needed.
• Ensure all work areas are clean and safe.
• Help on production line when needed.

Technical Skills Required

• Ability to operate a pallet jack and forklift.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read small fonts.
• Knowledge of the flow during manufacturing.
• Spanish/English (bilingual) is a plus.

Experience Required

• Warehouse experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to sit, balance, climb, stand, bend, squat, squeeze, kneel, turn, crouch, stoop repeatedly.
• Physically able to lift 75 pounds and manipulate up to a 500-pound drum on a regular basis.
• Frequent exposure to varying temperatures, loud noises, heavy machinery, fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, electrical, chemicals, and vibrations.
• Frequent use of computer screen.
• Must be able to discern differences in colors and shades.
• Must be able to read labels that could contain small fonts.
• Exposure to repetitive motions (making substantial movements/motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers).
