Job summary

Danfoss in Easley, SC is hiring a 1st Shift Material Handler to manage movement, storage and control of materials in our manufacturing facility. You will pull stock, stage orders, and move materials between production and warehouse areas while coordinating with production operators to ensure parts availability.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or technical school background, with three months of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent from a technical school, or at least three months of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Experience with quality tools (PPAP, PFMEA, Gauge R&R, 8D, Fishbone analysis) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and maintain forklift certifications and conduct daily safety inspections.
• Carry out daily replenishment route inspections of floor stock items, prioritizing cells.
• Update material information in the SAP system and communicate shortages to leadership.
