Job summary

Danfoss is seeking a 1st Shift Material Handler in Easley, SC to manage material movement within a climate-controlled facility. You will pull stock, stage orders, and coordinate with production to ensure needed supplier parts are available for each order.

The role requires forklift certification, familiarity with SAP, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs. Benefits include a generous PTO plan, holidays, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school preferred or 3+ months of Danfoss-related experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Familiar with quality/problem-solving tools: PPAP, PFMEA, 8D, Fishbone, Gauge R&R.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods.
• Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and maintain forklift certifications and perform daily safety inspections.
• Carry out daily replenishment and floor stock inspections, prioritizing cells as signaled.
• Update material information accurately in the SAP system.
• Communicate shortages or anticipated parts issues to the Department Facilitator and Supply Chain Specialist.
