Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS) is seeking a Warehouse Associate to pick, pack, and ship products in our New York area facility. You will operate forklifts, use scan guns, and maintain inventory while meeting safety and quality standards.

The role requires overtime flexibility, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds with assistance, and a strong attention to detail. Join a team focused on reliable shipping and efficient operations.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be willing and able to work overtime including weekends.
• Must comply with all plant safety policies.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment as required.
• Must be able to operate and maintain material handling equipment certification after training.
• Lift up to 50 pounds frequently, up to 75 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to stand/walk for long shifts and work in warehouse conditions.
• Must wear required PPE and work independently or in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately pick, pack and load products for shipment safely and efficiently.
• Document shipment freight characteristics and complete forms.
• Unload and load trailers safely and efficiently.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts as required.
• Reposition trailers using handling equipment and maintain order.
• Process packages through carriers’ systems (FEDEX, UPS).
• Perform audits and verify shipping accuracy to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain and consolidate inventory; use Kanban systems.
• Utilize scan guns and shipping equipment to track orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick and pack and load products for shipment while performing the tasks safely and efficiently.
• Accurately document shipment freight characteristics and complete forms.
• Adhere to process while performing tasks.
• Unload and load trailers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform material handling tasks using powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, safely and efficiently.
• Reposition trailers using material handling equipment.
• Process packages through parcel shipping carriers’ systems such as FEDEX and UPS.
• Perform audits and verifying shipping accuracy to maintain highest level of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate inventory.
• Consolidate inventory as needed.
• Accurately utilize Kanban systems.
• Utilize electronic shipping equipment such as scan guns, and strapping machines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preference for candidates with prior forklift experience.
• Preference for prior experience using computer as well as scan guns.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be willing and able to work overtime hours during the week as well as on weekends as business needs dictate.
• Must be willing and able to comply with all plant safety policies.
• Must have the ability to speak, read and write the English language.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment as required.
• Must be willing and able to operate and maintain material handling equipment certification after having been trained.
• Lift up to 50 pounds frequently, Lift up to 75 pounds periodically with assistance.
• Strong preference for prior experience using computer as well as scan guns.
• Must be able to site/walk/stand for up to 10 hour a day and be involved with shipping activities on the warehouse floor throughout the required shift.
• Must be able to bend, push, pull and kneel.
• Must be able to work in weather extremes.
• Must be able to wear required PPE.
• Must be self-directed to work independently as well as possess the ability to work in a team environment.
• Must possess attention to detail as it pertains to accuracy as well as solid decision-making skills.

This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
