Job summary

Dover Fueling Solutions in Austin, TX, seeks manufacturing associates to assemble and finish units in the zone. You will gain hands-on experience, work with Zone Team Members, and support daily tasks aligned with production goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Experience with hand and torque tools is preferred.
• Basic PC skills and ability to navigate training/communication programs.
• Ability to read and follow instructions in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Advance in duties through on-the-job experience.
• Build and assemble units in the assigned zone.
• Collaborate with Zone Team Members to complete daily tasks.
• Promote Zone Safety Hazard avoidance per training and PPE usage.
• Support housekeeping (6S) in line with manufacturing initiatives.
• Understand Quality and Continuous Improvement initiatives related to tasks.
• Engage with process-related activities and participate in improvement programs.
• Contribute to zone metrics and problem solving.

Job Responsibilities

• Advance in their job duties and abilities through on-the-job experience
• Perform the full range of duties necessary to build and assemble units in their respective zone
• Work with Zone Team Members to execute daily tasks that are consistent with achieving the daily Task
• Participate and promote Zone Safety Hazard avoidance according to training provided, PPE usage, etc.
• Ability to execute housekeeping responsibilities (6S experience) that are consistent with manufacturing initiatives
• Ability to understand Quality and Continuous Improvement initiatives as they relate to the tasks in their respective zone
• Demonstrated ability to grasp and execute process-related activities
• It is expected that enhanced proficiency within the Zone will result in active participation in the Employee Suggestions Program
• Ability to understand and engage in the Zone Metrics Indicators to drive continuous improvement/problem solving in the zone; actively identifies detractors and records them on the Tier Production Boards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Power tools usage experience
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education level
• Ability and willingness to stand for a minimum of 10 hours per day, and lift up to 40lbs unassisted as required
• Experience using hand and torque-driven tools
• Basic PC skills and ability to navigate programs used by the Company for training and/or communication purposes
• Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions in English
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
• High level of accuracy; keen attention to detail

Working Schedule

Day shifts - Monday - Thursday. Willingness to work weekends if necessary.
