Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, invites you to join our Sunnyvale warehouse team as a Material Handler I. Operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload finished goods, pick orders, receive and putaway stock, and keep the warehouse safe and organized.

The role is on the 3rd shift, Mon-Fri, 7:00 PM–3:30 AM, with room for growth within our tile and stone manufacturing family. Candidates should have a high school diploma, 1+ year warehouse experience, forklift certification, and

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years warehouse/distribution experience.
• Minimum six months to 1 year of sit-down forklift, reach truck, and order picker experience.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak English.
• Ability to work safely and conscientiously.

Mansioni

• Picking: Operate powered trucks to assemble customer orders and place pallets.
• Receiving: Load, inspect, label, and stock incoming product.
• Putaway: Move product to designated warehouse locations and update inventory in the system.
• SPC Check/Pack Checking: Pack and label boxes for shipping; verify accuracy of orders.
• General: Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area; follow SOPs and safety procedures.

Primary Objective:

Operates various powered industrial trucks to load and unload finished product in the shipping and receiving process.

Shift:

• 3rd: M-F, 7:00pm-3:30am

Equipment Knowledge:

• Sit-Down Forklift
• Order Picker/Cherry Picker Forklift

Responsibilities:

Picking

• Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
• Keys order into Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy
• Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areas

Receiving

• Operates various powered industrial trucks to receive product into warehouse and prepare for stocking
• Opens crates and inspects product
• Applies labels to product according to establishing procedures
• Verifies shading of product and places into accurate warehouse location

Putaway

• Utilizespowered industrialequipment to move product into pre-designated areas within warehouse once received
• Keys location of product into inventory control system and places product onto shelves
• Ensures product is placed into accurate location

SPC Check/Pack Checking

• Wraps and packs products by hand into boxes for shipping
• Labels boxes with packing slip
• Loads boxes into conveyor belt
• Verifies orders for accuracy

General

• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor
• Follows standard operating and safety procedures
• Keeps area safe, clean, and organized
• Performs other related duties as required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience.
• Must have a minimum of six months to 1 year of sit-downforklift. Reach truck, and OP experience.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak English.
• Ability to work in a safe conscientious manner.
• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
