Title: Material Handler

Hours: 2nd Shift 3:30 pm to 12:00 AM

Duration: 6+ months

Location: Greenville SC 29611

*Worker may need to train on day shift for a few weeks.

*Temp to perm position.

Job Description:

• Operate a Hamilton press safely and efficiently to produce high-quality products.
• Operate Hamilton presses according to job specifications and company procedures.
• Understand Lithographic (Offset) and Flexographic printing methods.
• Adjust press components as needed to ensure safe operation and quality output.
• Verify all materials for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications and regulations.
• Ensure print quality and maintain documentation as per company standards.
• Label rolls of paper properly and complete all required production forms legibly.
• Follow safety, health regulations, and good housekeeping practices.
• Assist other operators when needed.
• Set up numbering machines for jobs.
• Prepare and install print plates for offset and flexographic printing.
• Adjust impression and registration for quality printing.
• Request materials and supplies for efficient operation.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and adjust presses to ensure safety and quality.
• Calculate job requirements and interpret measurements to set up press components.
• Understand and follow all job-related documentation and instructions.
• Manage time effectively and collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently.
• Identify causes of operation errors and implement corrective actions.
• Select and apply appropriate training methods for learning and teaching tasks.
