To operate a Hamilton press in a safe and efficient manner to produce high-quality products, operation of Hamilton presses must be in accordance with job specifications and procedures established by the company.
· Must have a complete understanding of Lithographic (Offset) and Flexographic printing methods.
· Adjust press components as needed to ensure safe operation and the production of quality products.
· Verify all materials used for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications and regulatory requirements.
· Maintain all required documentation as per company standards.
· Ensure proper labeling of rolls of paper.
· Complete all production forms required by company standards legibly.
· Comply with safety and health regulations, maintain good housekeeping, and meet all quality specifications.
· Keep documentation of work performed and ensure proper labeling of forms and materials.
· Assist other operators as needed.
· Set up numbering machines for jobs.
· Prepare and install print plates for offset and flexographic printing.
· Adjust impression and registration to ensure print quality.
· Request materials and supplies as needed for efficient operation.

Education:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
Inexperienced Pressman – Must complete a twelve-week on-site training program.
Experienced Pressman – Must have at least five years of press operation experience.
