Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking personnel to operate equipment safely for moving packages and documents, including heavyweight items and dangerous goods. You will assist with pallet buildup/breakdown and may liaise with ULD repair vendors as needed.

Requirements include the ability to lift 50 lbs, work in varying weather, and communicate effectively in a noisy environment. A valid driver’s license is required and a drug screen will be administered.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to bend and squat for designated work hours.
• Able to maneuver packages above shoulder level and in enclosed spaces.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assists in the buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
