Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking responsible warehouse personnel to operate equipment safely for moving packages, documents, heavyweight freight and ULDs in an Anchorage, Alaska location. The role involves assisting with pallet buildup and breakdown and acting as liaison with ULD repair vendors.

A drug screen is required and a valid driver’s license is mandatory. Part-time and full-time shifts are available, including early morning, mid-day, evening and night.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs without assistance from the ground to chest level.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to bend and squat for designated work hours.
• Able to maneuver packages above shoulder level.
• Able to work in all weather conditions if required at work location.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for the movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assists in the buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
