Shurtape Technologies, LLC is seeking a Material Handler to support the slitting department by retrieving and returning materials and ensuring finishing equipment runs smoothly. The role includes aiding in weekly inventory procedures and maintaining accurate storage and material flow in a manufacturing setting.

The position requires mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills, familiarity with SAP, and attention to detail.

Qualifikationen

• Operate waste baler and manual/electric pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Follow production schedules and maintain material availability.
• Maintain organization and accuracy in inventory procedures.
• Be accurate in data entry and aware of decimals and percentages.

Aufgaben

• Ensure finishing equipment is operating correctly and issue repair work orders/notifications.
• Confirm materials (cartons, cores, spacers, bags, films, labels, end pieces, pallets) are available and inventoried.
• Retrieve/return supplies for slitter crews and other locations as needed.
• Load and unload elevator and support shifts as required.
• Train new team members in material handling and record keeping.
• Receive and store material in designated areas; assist slitter crew when needed.
• Suggest cost reductions, safety improvements, and process enhancements.
