Job summary

Shurtape Technologies, LLC is seeking a material handler to support production by moving materials, tracking inventory with handheld scanners, and upholding safety and quality standards. The role requires basic math, reading work orders, and strong English communication.

Experience with forklifts and ERP systems is preferred. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment knowledge, reporting issues to supervision, and contributing to process improvements while ensuring a clean, safe work

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; college a plus.
Experience in material handling and operating trucks is helpful.
Strong English communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to read and interpret work orders.
Comfort with basic math and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

Move materials, supplies, and finished goods to designated areas using hand trucks or forklifts.
Use handheld scanners to track and locate materials.
Maintain knowledge of processes and equipment.
Report problems to management or maintenance supervisor.
Ensure safety, housekeeping, and production quality standards.
Suggest improvements to methods, equipment, and quality.
Identify non-conforming goods and inform QA.
Utilize HQMS, Sage 500 ERP/DSCS, and handheld scanners.
Follow established safety protocols.
