Job summary

Malone Workforce Solutions is seeking a reliable Material Handler & General Maintenance team member in San Marcos, CA to support warehouse operations, material handling, and facility maintenance.

This hands-on role requires forklift operation, lifting up to 50 lbs, and the ability to work independently in a busy environment. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:30 am–3 pm, with pay $25–$30/hr DOE.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Valid California Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Hands-on maintenance and warehouse tasks.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Material Handler & General Maintenance team member to support daily warehouse, material handling, and facility maintenance operations. Material Handler/General Maintenance Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move and organize materials.
• Pick up and stage orders for production and customer needs.
• Receive, organize, and maintain inventory of sheet materials, tubing, angle, and other raw materials.
• Build and assemble crates for material and product handling.
• Assist with shelving and racking assembly and installation.
• Perform basic facility and equipment maintenance, including filter cleaning and general upkeep.
• Assist with building painting and floor sweeping/cleaning.
• Complete routine vehicle inspections and checklists.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Assist with other warehouse and facility tasks as needed.

Material Handler/General Maintenance Requirements:

• Previous forklift experience with demonstrated ability to operate safely and efficiently.
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Valid California Driver's License (CADL).
• Clean driving record.
• Comfortable performing hands-on maintenance and warehouse tasks.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in an active environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 3 pm

Payrate:

• $25-30/hr.DOE
