Qualifications

• Must read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Able to add and subtract.
• Working knowledge of production hand tools and gauges.
• High safety awareness at all times.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrates passion and integrity with drive to excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare products and materials for galvanizing.
• Inspect and identify production fixtures, chains, and hooks for repair or disposal.
• Hand wire small to medium parts to racks for pickling or galvanizing.
• Move steel pieces by hand within plant and yard.
• Perform paddling to improve galvanized product quality.
• Operate tools and PPE as required and maintain a safe work area.
