Job summary

Orgill, Inc. in Tifton, GA is seeking a warehouse associate to support the DC by efficiently stocking inbound merchandise to designated locations.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 4 AM–12 PM with pay of $18.00 per hour and up. You will operate stand up reach trucks, forklifts, stock pickers and scanners to move and verify inventory.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transfer merchandise using reach truck, forklift, stock picker or pallet jack from staging area to primary pick locations and back to stock locations.
• Operate a handheld scanner to verify inventory.
• Understand receiving labels to place merchandise into assigned locations.
• Identify merchandise and maintain primary pick locations and correct units of measure.
• Meet quality and productivity standards; communicate stocking errors to supervisor.

Primarily responsible for the support of the DC by, efficiently stocking inbound merchandise to designated locations in a timely manner.

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 4 AM - 12 PM

Pay: $18.00 and up

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must be able to transfer merchandise by using a stand up reach truck, sit down forklift, stock picker and/or pallet jack from staging area to primary pick locations and back to stock locations.
• Must be able to operate a handheld scanner.
• Must be able to understand the receiving label placed on the inbound merchandise to identify and place the merchandise into assigned locations.
• Must be able to identify merchandise and maintain primary pick locations.
• Must be able to accurately identify units of measure for proper placement of merchandise.
• Directly communicates with co-workers any identified location stocking errors.
• Must be able to meet quality and productivity standards.
• Ability to take direction from Supervisor.
• Excellent attendance and reliable predictability a must
• Adheres to DC housekeeping guidelines
• Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned.*

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or GED preferred
