Job summary

Goodwill Manasota is seeking a Material Handler to support store operations in Sarasota. You will move merchandise, assist with unloading trucks, and help maintain an organized workspace while delivering strong customer service to donors and shoppers.

The role requires physical effort, willingness to work 40 hours, and reliability in a fast-paced retail environment. Training and development opportunities are offered along with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience moving larger, heavier items preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Willingness to work days, evenings, and weekends for full-time roles.
• Able to perform essential functions with/without accommodation.

As a Material Handler at one of our stores, you will:

• Ensure the efficient movement of goods in the processing area, donor door, and sales floor
• Assist with the unloading of trucks with general merchandise and donated goods with the appropriate use of equipment
• Provide world class customer service to all customers and donors
• Categorize donations to maintain an organized workspace
