Job summary

Goodwill Manasota is seeking a friendly Cashier to greet customers, operate the POS, and help with a Change Round Up to the nearest dollar to support our mission.

As a Full Time Team Member, you will enjoy a consistent forty hour work week and benefits such as Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with Employer Match, PTO, a 25% store discount, Teladoc access, and opportunities for training and development. This role requires days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Six months of cash handling experience preferred.
• Must be willing and able to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers with enthusiasm.
• Operate the POS to ensure accurate and efficient sales data, price, and information codes on merchandise.
• Welcome customers to participate in a Change Round Up to the nearest dollar to further support our missions.
• Respond to phone calls while offering world class customer service.
• Assist in the training of new team members and cashiers.
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe sales floor and return all unsold merchandise to the floor.
