Job summary

Cleveland Steel Container, a Streetsboro-based manufacturer, is seeking a Material Handler for loading/unloading trucks on 1st shift. Responsibilities include loading shipments, securing trailers, completing bills of lading, and daily forklift checks at our Streetsboro facility.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, 5 years forklift experience, and OSHA forklift certification is a plus. Competitive, benefit-rich environment with ESOP and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years forklift truck loading experience.
• OSHA forklift certification is a plus.
• Ability to work on a team with strong communication.
• Basic math skills.
• DOT truck weight balancing and safe loading with various heights and weights.
• Multitask and prioritize activities.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks for daily shipment.
• Secure loaded trailers and complete Bills of Lading.
• Daily forklift and equipment inspections.
• Maintain clean and safe work area in shipping dept.
• Move stock throughout the plant to support production.
• Unload inbound deliveries and set up lines as needed.
