The position offers hands-on material handling duties, label accuracy, and daily equipment checks in a fast-paced plastics environment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong, consistent work history.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certification - a plus but will train and certify.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to move product via pallet jack and forklift.
• Scan material and component transactions accurately for startup, replenishment, and turnovers.
• Follow all work instructions and quality control documentation.
• Clear production line of inventory no longer in use (Line Clearance).
• Complete End-of-Shift status forms and print labels.
• Move and store product in correct locations and perform daily forklift inspections.
• Set up and use auxiliary material handling equipment (dryers, hoppers).
• Ensure proper material transfer and clean out of dryers and loaders.
• Enter data into computer systems and verify labels match work orders.
• Maintain housekeeping around injection molding machine area and surroundings.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement teams and housekeeping efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
