Job summary

F&M Plastics seeks a Material Handler to maintain inventory accuracy on the production floor, staging materials for production and shipping, and performing daily audits. The role involves operating forklifts and other material moving equipment, plus routine cleaning of plastic equipment.

The position requires attention to detail, reliable attendance, and ability to work with production and shipping teams. Forklift experience is preferred and basic math/computer skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior warehouse/material handling experience is a plus.
• Experience with forklifts or material moving equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately label, store, and distribute materials to work centers.
• Maintain inventory records using warehouse systems and ERP (JOBBOSS).
• Identify and report inventory discrepancies and non-conforming materials.
• Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Perform scheduled inventory audits.
• Clean liquid plastic equipment and containers used in production.
• Keep work areas clean and compliant with safety guidelines.
