Job summary

Holman Enterprises in Mobile, AL is seeking a Material Handler to join our team in Loxley, AL. Starting pay is $21 per hour with shift from 8:30am to 5pm. Benefits include health, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, PTO and more. Eligible for benefits within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities include receiving and storing materials, picking and packing orders, operating forklifts, and using RF scanners or WMS to process transactions. Safety and teamwork are emphasized across daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience required.
• Forklift operation experience preferred.
• RF scanners or warehouse management systems experience a plus.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials in a warehouse environment.
• Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and products.
• Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
• Load and unload materials safely.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment per safety guidelines.
• Utilize RF scanners and WMS to process inventory transactions.
• Perform cycle counts and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and housekeeping.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team to achieve daily operational goals.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving.
