Job summary

THREADED FASTENERS INC in Mobile, AL is seeking a Material Handler to accurately process orders, ship and receive goods, and support regular inventory counts. You will operate forklifts and warehouse equipment, verify shipments, pick and pack, label products, and move stock to designated areas.

Required: HS diploma or GED and 1–2 years warehouse experience; forklift training is a plus and safety compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED Equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Previous 1-2 years warehouse experience required.
• Forklift training program completed is preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and mathematical skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Knowledgeable in TFI/OSHA Safety Requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, two-wheel hand cart, and scales.
• Retrieve stock to fulfill orders.
• Check outgoing and incoming shipments for accuracy.
• Check orders for accuracy.
• Inspect goods for defects and report issues.
• Move orders to designated areas and monitor progress.
• Order picking, packing, labeling, and shrink-wrapping as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area following 6S principles.
• Load finished products onto trucks and transport stock as needed.
• Open containers and assist in inventory counting.
• Follow safety rules and wear appropriate PPE.
