Job summary

Specialty Building Products is seeking a Material Handler - Picker for the Reeb Finish operation. You will pull doors, inserts, and lites from the warehouse to supply the shops for assembly of pre-hung door units.

You will use a handheld scanner, stage materials in the correct order, and maintain production flow by stacking correctly. Forklift/Cherry Picker operation is required and collaboration with schedulers and supervisors is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand English
• Forklift - Cherry Picker Experience

Responsibilities

• Pull doors, inserts and lites from the warehouse after scanning a work order with a hand-held scanner
• Stage material in the correct order to supply the shop - inserts on cart to match the order of the doors
• Assure constant production flow by stacking material appropriately
• Communicate with the production scheduler, shop supervisor and department manager to assure continuing production in the shop
• Use of forklift and order picker required
