Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon seeks a Material Handler to move, store, and manage materials for transformers at our Solomon, KS facility. You will pull orders, inspect shipments, and prepare items for distribution, while maintaining safe, organized work areas.

Requirements include a HS diploma, forklift experience, and OSHA10 preferred. The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED preferred.
• 1 year of experience with material handling equipment preferred.
• WMS experience preferred.
• OSHA10 certification preferred.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders.

Responsibilities

• Move, store, and manage materials for transformers.
• Pull orders from inventory and deliver production materials.
• Receive and inspect incoming materials for quality and quantity.
• Prepare finished stock for shipment and secure products.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and comply with safety standards.
• Document materials and transactions, and assist with cycle counts.
• Assist with inventory control and audits as needed.
