Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon is seeking a Material Handler to move, store, and manage materials for transformers. You will pull orders, stage products for distribution, and maintain accurate inventory while operating forklifts and other equipment.

A strong safety record and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. The role requires HS diploma or GED, 1–3 years of transformer and field experience, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required and technical/vocational training preferred.
• Basic MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
• 1–3 years transformer experience required.
• 1–3 years mechanical and/or electrical field experience required.
• Material handling equipment (forklift, crane) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move, store, and manage materials for transformers and ensure timely deliveries.
• Pull materials from inventory per production orders and stage finished stock for shipment.
• Maintain in-process inventory and document material movements.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack) and ensure equipment is safe to use.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and shipment accuracy.
• Keep inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean and organized.
• Assist with inventory control and audits as needed.
