Position Title: Logistics Technician (Night Shift)

Reports To: Area Leader

Location: Longmont, Colorado

Compensation: $22.50/hr. + $3/hr. shift differential

Role Overview: Help us unlock Uncrustables! Our logistics technicians work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. We seek motivated, team-oriented individuals eager to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, push back racks, and electric pallet jacks.
2. Ensure timely loading and unloading of ingredients, supplies, materials, and finished goods.
3. Utilize WMS for accurate data entry, shipping, and receiving.
4. Maintain quality standards during carrier inspections.
5. Use computers to input and maintain data in HMI.
6. Deliver materials to production lines to ensure they are stocked.
7. Stage and put away finished goods and materials, including in freezing conditions (-10°F).
8. Perform sanitation and quality control tasks routinely.
9. Identify and troubleshoot machinery and equipment issues.
10. Perform freezer clean-up and manage destroyed products.
11. Cross-train within the department to enhance skills and demonstrate leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior forklift experience/certification is required.
• Experience with dock equipment is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret safety and manufacturing documents.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Ability to perform essential functions safely, with or without accommodations.

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift experience/certification required.
• Experience with dock equipment preferred.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to walk, stand, and climb steps regularly.
• Work 12-hour shifts (6:00 pm - 6:30 am).
• Work in freezing conditions (-10°F) frequently.
• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Pass an occupational physical and vision test.

Work Environment:

• Weekend work required.
• Schedule: 2-2-3 weekly rotation.
• Moderate to high noise levels; hearing conservation required.
• Environmental conditions vary between hot and cold.
