Job summary

TOPPAN Packaging Americas in Morristown, TN, is seeking a Material Handler to supply raw materials to the press department, support shipping/receiving, and maintain inventory accuracy. The role emphasizes safety, forklift proficiency, and teamwork within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include staging materials, loading/unloading trucks, verifying docs, and ensuring material readiness for scheduled jobs, while adhering to GMPs and continuous improvement goals.

Qualifications

• Must follow written and verbal instructions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to accurately use measuring devices (rulers, tape measures).
• Maintain logs, inventory records and documentation with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Follow all plant and division safety rules and procedures.
• Perform duties with required PPE and safety practices.
• Maintain GMPs and housekeeping standards in the warehouse.
• Complete forklift inspections at shift start.
• Locate, stage, and supply raw materials for scheduled press jobs.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Verify incoming/outgoing materials against bills of lading and docs.
• Keep warehouse organized and materials staged per production jobs.
• Inspect trailers and trucks for cleanliness and safety before loading/unloading.
• Verify material availability for upcoming production jobs.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and demonstrate commitment to quality.
