Altium Packaging in Sparta, Tennessee is seeking a Material Handler to receive, store and distribute raw materials and supplies to designated staging areas. This role requires operating a forklift, maintaining safety standards, and assisting with material preparation for grinding processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to unload inbound and outbound shipments.
• Visually inspect materials and report discrepancies in quality.
• Prepare materials for grinding process.
• Transport and store materials to designated staging areas and report locations for labeling.
• Transport scrapped materials to grinder area.
• Maintain cleanliness of ramp, dock and compactor area.
• Ensure safety compliance with corporate and plant standards at all times.
• Perform all duties to ensure the safety of yourself and others in the plant.
• Overtime may be required due to business needs.
