Job summary

Douglas Dynamics, LLC is seeking a Material Handler to support fabrication, welding, and assembly cells. You will stock FIFO and kitted carts, restock finished parts, and maintain part supermarkets while coordinating replenishment with the production team.

Role requires forklift operation, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. A 5S mindset and teamwork are essential for daily success and safety in our factory environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks with little supervision.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a current Forklift and Arial lift platform license.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Standing, walking, reaching, bending, squatting, and crawling as required.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties in support of fabrication, welding, and assembly cells.
• Stock FIFO and kitted carts with parts based on production schedule.
• Restock fabricated and purchased parts in finished part supermarket.
• Maintain organization and accuracy of finished parts supermarkets.
• Coordinate replenishment to support production needs.
• Operate a hi-lo forklift as needed.
• Maintain 5S and safe working conditions.
