Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Wisconsin is seeking a Material Handler for the 1st shift (6:30 am – 2:30 pm). The position pays $22.50 per hour, with weekly pay and a path for overtime.

You will interface with other departments to manage material flow and operate a forklift to sustain production. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, and the ability to lift 44 lbs and stand for 8 hours.

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk/stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Must be able to lift 44lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to obtain forklift certification.
• Ability to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Interface with other departments in regard to material flow.
• Operate Forklift to sustain flow of materials for the department.
• Perform a variety of repetitive sub and final assembly operations on various standard product lines.
• Perform work from specifications, and/or communicated instructions.
• Follow established working procedures.
• Be responsible for own work under minimal supervision and instructions.
• Meet or exceed quality and quantity standards.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Contribute suggestions for methods or product improvement.
• Use and operate tools and equipment consistent with this job.
• Adhere to all environmental, health, safety rules and regulations, and work instructions.
• Fosters an environment that promotes Eaton’s goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement through participation and teamwork.
