Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESSdivision is seeking a Material Handler on 1st shift at the Capital Blvd site in Raleigh, NC. Core hours are 6:00am–2:30pm, with a pay rate of $18.50 per hour. Position supports production by moving material, stocking inventory, and ensuring quality throughout the process.

Responsibilities include operating RF units, kitting parts, ensuring inventory accuracy, and complying with safety and quality guidelines. Overtime and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience operating material handling equipment.
• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• The ability to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without sponsorship is required.
• Reside within Knightdale, NC area; relocation not provided; military candidates exempt from area restriction.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to quality standards and seek improvements across functions.
• Operate and read handheld RF devices to locate and allocate material.
• Move material per production plan and requests.
• Kit parts and distribute to lines; maintain kit integrity.
• Maintain inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and use the inventory system.
• Load/unload trucks and inspect material for damage.
• Report irregularities or equipment malfunctions.
• Operate forklifts and perform 5S+ housekeeping as needed.
