Job summary

LACOSTA Facility Support Services is a Rockford-based provider of dependable, high-quality facility solutions, seeking a forklift driver/warehouse team member. You will support safe, efficient material handling and keep storage areas orderly while contributing to a clean, productive site.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with some weekends, 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM), paid weekly at $20/hour. Benefits include Health Insurance, Vision Insurance, 401K, 401K Matching, and Paid Time Off.

Qualifications

• Minimum of THREE years of previous forklift operation.
• Must have previous warehouse experience.
• Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate or similar position.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Job Skills / Requirements

LACOSTA is looking for an experienced forklift driver, warehouse team member for our site in Rockford, IL.

Job Schedule: Monday - Friday, some Weekends

• 2nd Shift - 3:00 PM -11:30 PM

Pay Rate: Paid weekly (every Friday!)

• $20.00/hr

Requirements:

• Ensures orderly production and warehouse areas by removing cardboard, pallets, and handling the recycling.
• Contributes to orderly operation of materials storage area by assembling totes.
• Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections.
• Operates forklifts, cardboard compactor, auger, and other machinery.
• Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.
• Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of THREE years of previous forklift operation
• Must have previous warehouse experience
• Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate or similar position
• Organizational Skills
• Ability to read and analyze information
• Adept to handling multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting deadlines
• Ability to lift heavy materials

Essential Functions:

• Ability to wear required PPE (Hi-Vis Safety Vest, Safety glasses, and steel toe safety shoes) for entire 8-hour shift.
• Must be able to constantly switch from standing/sitting.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Additional Information

• Pass background checks and drug screening
• Physical requirements: walking, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting 40lbs independently.
• Wear LACOSTA Shirt, safety glasses, steel-toed boots/shoes, safety vest and long pants.
