Job summary

LACOSTA Facility Support Services is seeking a dependable General Cleaner/Forklift Operator to join our team at the Sanford facility. The role focuses on safe operation of sit-down electric forklifts to move, load, unload, and organize materials while maintaining clean, hazard-free work areas.

The position includes 10-hour shifts Monday-Thursday, night hours 6:00PM-4:30AM, with weekly pay Friday. Prior janitorial and forklift experience in an industrial/warehouse setting is preferred; there is

Responsibilities

• Janitorial tasks throughout entire facility.
• Responsible for operating floor care equipment.
• Operate sit-down electric forklifts to move, load, unload, and organize materials.
• Follow established routes and pickup schedules for recycling and trash removal.
• Transport and place recycling and waste in designated disposal areas.
• Sort recycling and trash according to facility guidelines.
• Maintain clean and orderly recycling and waste collection areas.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and regulations.

Overview

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused General Cleaner/Forklift Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of sit-down electric forklifts to move, load, unload, and organize materials throughout the facility. You will also help maintain with general housekeeping and facility organization to help ensure work areas remain clean, safe, and free of hazards.

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday (10-hour shifts)

Night Shift: 6:00PM-4:30AM

Pay:

Paid Weekly (every Friday)

• $15.00/hr.

Duties

• Janitorial tasks throughout entire facility
• Responsible for operating floor care equipment
• Will be safely operating forklifts to collect, transport, and dispose of recycling and trash throughout the warehouse.
• Follow established routes and pickup schedules for recycling and trash removal.
