Job Description

The Material Handler will report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor. This person will be required to support Powerbrace Operations by supplying product to keep each production area running effectively. Will be required to support other warehouse functions when directed, including but not limited to kitting, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory functions. Responsibilities will be performed in accordance with process instructions and quality specifications, in a safe and timely manner.

This person will be required to support Powerbrace Operations by supplying product to keep each production area running effectively. Will be required to support other warehouse functions when directed, including but not limited to kitting, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory functions. Responsibilities will be performed in accordance with process instructions and quality specifications, in a safe and timely manner.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) certificate. Must have previous forklift driving experience.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must be able to obtain / maintain certification to operate a forklift truck.
• Responsible for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and supplying all operations
• Must be able to multitask to keep all production lines running.
• Must learn and follow approved processes and guidelines pertinent to assigned tasks, duties and safety protocol including daily maintenance checks.
• Learn warehouse functions for backup purposes.
• Must be able to use and understand Epicor and possess basic computer skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. throughout the workday.
• Must be able to read and write and complete basic math functions
• Adhere to all elements of quality management system
• Understand and use scales for weight and count verification
• Other duties as assigned
