Responsibilities:

• Operate forklift safely following training and safety guidelines
• Load/unload/store building materials, minimizing damage
• Store and retrieve materials (piece pick and/or bulk)
• Prepare distribution and shipping paperwork
• Perform daily inspection and maintenance of equipment
• Maintain cleanliness in the work area
• Assist with periodic inventory counts

Qualifications:

• At least one year of recent forklift/warehouse experience
• Proficient and safe forklift operation skills
• Ability to understand and follow directions
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to read and comprehend sales orders, purchase orders, safety materials
• Detail-oriented, organized, with basic math skills
• Safe work record and stable employment history
