Arcadia Beverage Co. in Arden, NC is hiring a Fork Lift Operator for our Shipping Warehouse. You will move pallets, load trucks, and use RF scanners with our ERP system to enter data.

The role requires forklift certification or willingness to learn, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a refrigerated environment with 35 degrees. Full-time schedule with potential overtime and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic cycle counts and identify damaged materials.
• Participate in weekly cleaning tasks and maintain quality checks.
• Assist with cross-training in production as needed.

Description

Arcadia Beverage, in Arden, NC, is a pasteurized cold fill scale contract packager of non-alcoholic / non-carbonated beverages for major retailers and food service distributors. We make orange juices, lemonades, and teas in ready to drink bottles.

We are currently looking for energetic, dedicated and flexible, Fork Lift Operators to join our outstanding team in our Shipping Warehouse. This person will be mainly be pulling orders and loading trucks. Our warehouse is refrigerated at approximately 35 degrees. Additional responsibilities also include GMP cleaning, inventory counting and computer usage.

The positions would be full time (at least 40 hours per week) with the opportunity for overtime, depending on plant volume and candidate's willingness to be flexible with schedule.

Base Schedule:

• a. Sunday – Tuesday 7:00 AM – 6:30 PM and Wednesday 7:00 AM – 1:30 PM (40 hours)
• b. Overtime Opportunities Available: Wednesday (full day) / Thursday – Saturday (depending on plant volume)

Main Activities:

• Move finished goods pallets from warehouse into trucks or from production into the warehouse.
• Use RF Scanners and ERP system to move and enter data.
• Prepare and process shipping paperwork and interact w/ truck drivers.
• Prepare and take periodic cycle count inventory.
• Identify and rework damaged materials.
• Weekly warehouse and equipment cleaning tasks as directed.
• Monitor finished goods quality and inventory accuracy.
• Checking in drivers, cross-training in production to help move pallets into the warehouse.

Requirements

• Forklift certification and experience or willingness to learn. Minimum of one year of forklift experience preferred.
